Slow progress

Being Thursday there were domestic chores on which to concentrate once the Gorse Fox had wandered round to meet Urban-Cub and Ellie and walk with them to school. We had the Ocado delivery, then went to Sainsbury's before finally heading to the local pharmacy to collect a prescription that they hadn't yet filled.

By the time we got home there was only about an hour before we had to collect Ellie. An hour wasn't really enough. The Gorse Fox experimented with a few ideas that he had picked up from YouTube. These look promising but there is still a large number of errors in the media files that were meant to be transferred to Osprey.

One thing that became clear is whilst Osprey, Condor, and Harrier all have Family Tree Maker and sync with Ancestry, that sync can loose some FTM specific data. Clearly, it will be necessary to sync sideways by means of Backup/Restore. In turn, the Gorse Fox will have to get to the bottom of the 800+ media items that didn't transfer as part of that backup/restore between the iMac and Windows systems (but works between the two Macs).

We have Ellie with us overnight as Urban-Cub doesn't finish until 10:30pm or 11:00pm.
