A Quiet Mother's Day

We had a relaxed start to the day, though Cousteau-Cub messaged the Gorse Fox to find out if we were up and about; she wanted to drop off a Mother's Day card. So it was that we had our first visitor before nine o'clock this morning. She was dropping off a card and some decorative plants for the Silver Vixen. It was nice to see her as it has been a few weeks since her last visit.

When she left us, she and the Coventry Hobbit were off to collect a new rescue dog as company for Bruno. This new dog is called Harley.

The Gorse Fox spent much of the day up in the branches of the family tree. He made contact with another researcher who, in turn, put him in touch with another one of the clan he he has been researching. In turn the Gorse Fox has passed on the information to his cousins so that they can choose to invite him to weekly Zoom call, if they should so wish. His research has also managed to push their part of the family tree back by another couple of generations.

Urban-Cub has just dropped off her Mother's Day cards and gifts, along with Ellie. Ellie will be staying with us overnight as Urban-Cub is on an early shift tomorrow.
