Leap forward

Well, the clocks went forward overnight. Despite this, we both had a very good night's sleep and a very gentle start to the day.

Urban-cub dropped by on her way to work. She had two lovely joints of beef for us. They had reached their expiry date and were being sold off at £2 each. Seemed too good of a bargain to pass up. They are nestling in the freezer for future use.

The Gorse Fox returned to his family tree. A few hundred more locations and addresses have been resolved and standardized. Unfortunately, these do not get carried up to Ancestry and back down to the laptop in such a way that it realizes that the locations have been resolved. This is another case where backup/restore is the way forward.

Meanwhile, the Gorse Fox has tried to generate the first cut of a book for his "Law" relatives. Because of the size of the family, he is now in the middle of generating Volume IV... which is the 10th generation. Only a few more to go now.
