Jiggling Atoms

Yesterday the Gorse Fox spoke of tickling his little grey cells. He also watched a BBC Archive film from Richard Feynman call "Jiggling Atoms". Richard Feynman is one of his heroes. A truly inspired and inspirational scientist. Anyway, today his tickled grey cells started to jiggle. The work he had done for his "pre-processor" idea had started to bear fruit. Synapses were firing, grey cells were jiggling and his fingers were dashing across the keyboard as he spent the day in front of old code that could be adapted. That's not to say that everything went swimmingly... there were still bugs to drive out, but in general it was deeply satisfying.

You may have guessed that Urban-Cub and Ellie were out for the day, giving the Gorse Fox undisturbed time to code. Also, the Silver Vixen was on the phone for much of the morning and then sewing all afternoon. The Gorse Fox did have a fleeting trip to Sainsbury's to get some cat food. He was pleased to see more people wearing masks than he has done recently. They are still, however, very much in the minority.
