He spent a few hours tidying up some old code but then got thinking about all of the useful cross-referencing information that we used to get from PL/1 and Pascal compilers. Wouldn't it be nice if we had something like that for Rexx. So it was that he asked on the forum.
Cyril responded with some code that would cross-reference every word in a file... useful, but not what was wanted. He, Cyril that is, then dug some code out of an archive that sounds as if it should do the job. The problem is that it is Windows-OS/2 only. The Gorse Fox looked at the basic framework and decided that this was worthy of some redesign. He now has several thousand lines of code to rework such that they will execute on MACOS or Linux. Seems like a worthy challenge for the little grey cells.
