Clearance

The whole family turned up. The Silver Vixen set about cleaning, Urban-cub set about cleaning and directing, Cousteau-cub helped pack and shift, the Coventry Hobbit brought a van and shifted and loaded, while the Gorse Fox dismantled, shifted, and loaded. It took many hours but the house in LA is virtually clear now. A brief session tomorrow should manage the last couple of items.

Once everything was loaded into the van we headed across to the storage facility. It was a good job that Urban-cub had switched to the larger unit. By the time we had shifted everything, you would find it a challenge to slide a sheet of paper into the unit. Lugging everything up from the paring area was hampered by the arrival of the family using the next unit to Urban-cub's. They blocked the corridor as they faffed about, and we had to find a more circuitous route to the storage unit. This was not easy as the trolleys we used were very difficult to manoeuver around the tight corners. Eventually, we were done.

Back home we settled for some lamb chops and a drink as Cousteau-cub and the Coventry Hobbit headed back to Chichester having been such invaluable help throughout the day.
