Football

The Gorse Fox received a call from Krakatoa Jack. It appears that Worthing have started playing football again, and have been playing for several weeks. Also, there has been a separate session for the older community up at Highdown. Jack suggested we should go along a watch, then decide what Arun should do. The Gorse Fox, as much as he wants to play, still thinks it is a bit premature. Particularly so as infection rates have increased significantly in Worthing over the past week. The Gorse Fox declined to offer for this week but may go and watch the following week.

Most of the day has been spent fighting through a maze of logic problems as the Gorse Fox starts to redevelop the code from scratch. He doesn't underestimate the effort that went into the original code, but feels there must be a significantly better and more elegant way to handle it. As one user put it "it is brutish in its approach". We have also managed to find a number of obscure test cases that it just could not handle.

Nice win for Spurs this afternoon (3-0 over Leicester).

Ellie is back from Pistol Pete. It's always so nice to see her cheery little face as she gets back. She is always so excited to see Urban-Cub and the Silver Vixen and always has a chuckle with the Gorse Fox over some bit of grandpa's silliness.
