The chosen route for today's walk started near Jackdine Farm, north of Eartham near the easternmost point of this map.The route headed southwest along the path of Stane Street, with a detour to visit Halnaker Windmill.
It then continued to Boxgrove and the ruined priory before turning back northwards past the ruins of Halnaker House, through the woods past Selhurst Park and back to the car.
