Approaching Boxgrove

The route cut across the field at the end of Tinwood Lane. As he got closer the Boxgrove Priory Church came into view.

The ruins of the priory also became visible. When Henry VIII ordered Boxgrove Priory to be dissolved, most of the domestic buildings were demolished, along with the complete nave of the old church, leaving only the crossing section to the east end intact.
