Alcazaba

The final part of our tour of this magnificent complex of palaces and gardens brought us to the Alcazaba.

This is situated on the westernmost end of the La Sabika (the hill on which the comples is situated).

This fortress was built in the thirteenth century on the remains of an eleventh century fortress.
