Lunch

Marching along The Monarch's Way thge Gorse Fox was approaching Long Furlong Farm. This seemed like a good point to stop for refreshment.

Propping himself against a gate he opened his ruchsack and liberated a cold Cornish pasty which he munched through with gusto. Now, just a drink.

There is something deeply refreshing about sparkling mineral water. This is particularly true when it has been bouncing around in your rucksack for a couple of hours... and open it carelessly. The Gorse Fox did exactly that, committing the offense of "opening without due care and attention". This resulted in the top third of the bottle providing him with cold shower.

Well, the sun was out by then, so it was quite pleasant - if a bit of a shock!
