Another beautifully symmetric space dominated by the forest of 124 marble columns supporting the cloister and the heavy stone fountain supported on the backs of stone lions.
A small temple sits at either side of the patio, and from each a bubbling fountain overflows into a rill that runs to the central fountain. Two further rills run from the north and south.
These rills represent the four rivers of Paradise
This was built between 1362 and 1391.
