Insurance renewal notice arrived. Premiums seemed a bit steep, so shopped around. Got online quotes from AA and Directline, both of which presented a £240 pa saving over NU. Phoned NU to give them option to match, but they couldn't come close. Cancelled the policy, and went to Directline. That was a good start to the day!

Esteemed client has extracted digit and released contract (at last), still haven't received cover for last few weeks, though. Haven't seen the final contract yet, but no doubt it will appear from the adminisphere some time today.
