A most pleasant day. I had to spend some time clearing up the mess left by the grass-gnome. (It would have been so much easier if he'd used a grass collector).

The Silver Vixen cleaned the windows this morning. This was the eerie sight that I faced in my study. 

We headed off to look at some bathroom fittings. First trying Wickes, the Concept Bathrooms, and finally looked in B&Q. Part of our dilemma stemmed from the wish to have a semi-pedestal sink, but not having a suitable wall on which to hang it. However, it dawned on us that a false wall would solve that problem, and this opened up a host of additional opportunities. Now we just need to select the fittings and choose between Keith & Adie to do the work. (Adie came back with a very sensible quote for the work).
