Today has returned to a degree of normality. Ellie was dropped off and we took her to school. It was a school trip to Amberley Museum today so she (and the rest of the class) were very excited.
Back home we had the usual shopping deliveries and top-up shops but then everything quietened down. After lunch, we sat in the Orangery to enjoy the war sunshine but, by the time we had to collect Ellie, it had deteriorated to torrential rain. The Gorse Fox insisted that the Silver Vixen stayed put, and went to collect Ellie by himself.
Urban-cub finished at 15:30 and dropped off to collect Ellie on her way through. The Silver Vixen then took the opportunity to call Cousteau-cub and see how they had enjoyed their trip to Edinburgh. It was clear that they had enjoyed it immensely and would return in a heartbeat. (Mind you, they were very lucky with the weather).
