The Gorse Fox was up early. He wanted to clear the bathroom as soon as possible and ensure Ellie was awake and ready for a 7:00 pickup. The Silver Vixen had an appointment at Southampton General Hospital and Ellie was going to get ready for school back home. Once Ellie had left with Darren we got on with breakfast and the Gorse Fox prepared the timer for Jasper's lunch.
We had a good run across to Soton but the route chosen by the SatNav through the city was sub-optimal. A different route will be used in future visits. Despite the problems with the route, we arrived early. (But what else would you expect?) Making our way through the huge hospital we found our way to pathology for blood tests, then X-ray for a chest X-ray, and finally cardio for ECG and Echo. We then saw the consultant. We had been warned to allow 4 hours but were finished well before that. Now we just need to wait for a date.
Back home, it has been a quiet afternoon. The Silver Vixen has phoned and updated all of the people who needed it. We have just finished dinner and will have a quiet evening in front of the TV.
