Today is Ellie's sixth birthday. Soon after eight we called to wish her a Happy Birthday... Pete had beaten us to it, and Cousteau-cub was next in line after us. The Gorse Fox wandered round to clamber over the presents and escort her to school.
The Silver Vixen did not go to Pilates, and the Gorse Fox missed football. She wanted to go and see the Cardia Rehab specialist who runs sessions at the local community centre on Wednesdays. The Gorse Fox kept her company.
This afternoon, after Ellie was collected from school we took her our presents (just to add briefly to the chaos). Once they had been opened, we brought them back home with us so that she had some to play with when she is here.
The rest of the day has been spent working on the 2010 blog extract, and the Silver Vixen has been reading through all of the documents she was given yesterday.
