The Gorse Fox allowed himself a lie-in. It was 7:40 before he found his way out of bed. Unfortunately, Jasper had decided to evacuate in the litter tray, so the Gorse Fox spent the first ten minutes sorting out a major dump and the accompanying smells. Once that was sorted out the rich aroma of good coffee overcame the residual smell of cat crap.
The morning was spent on admin. The most pressing item being the accounts, after a few days away. Everything balanced perfectly, so the Gorse Fox was pleased.
A message arrived. DHL would deliver his new Apple Watch today. Ooooh! Exciting! There was no real clue as to when it would arrive so he read the instructions for disabling the old watch and then decided to ignore it until the DHL courier arrived. As it happens he arrived by about 16:30 so the Gorse Fox is now the proud owner of a new watch and it has just finished its set-up process and restored its data from the Gorse Fox's backup.
Most of the rest of the day has been spent on the post-trip washing, by the Silver Vixen and her latest sewing project for Ellie. The Gorse Fox has been doing some family tree tidying up.
