Urban-Cub was back at work today after her week's holiday. She dropped Ellie off with us first thing. Today is an INSET day, which means the school is not open for pupils. In turn, this meant that the Silver Vixen and Gorse Fox were in charge for the day.
Ellie was pretty good all day. We tried to get her to play with a spirograph, but the coordination proved too much at the moment. We switched to a jigsaw. This was much more successful. She also did painting, some craft work, and we did some reading with her as well as working on her numbers. She managed to unlock 7 more levels on the numbers app. This was a good performance. During the afternoon we took her to the park so that she could let off some steam.
Alongside all this the Gorse Fox managed to get in to the Post Office and send off his old Apple Watch for a refund and made it to the train station to reclaim the fares for the aborted trip to London for reunion he had organised and Storm Eunice had disorganised.
