The Gorse Fox is pleased that the Silver Vixen came with him to the local vaccination centre. As she had an appointment booked for tomorrow, they were happy to give her the vaccination at the same time as the Gorse Fox, saving us a return trip in the morning. We both ended up with the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine. The whole process was immensely slick. As we entered the centre, volunteers directed us through to reception, they took the Gorse Fox's name and directed us onwards where we were greeted by a nurse who took us straight through to a room where our details were recorded and our jabs given. As it was the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, there was no need to hang around for 15 minutes (as you do with the Pfizer jab). We were back in the car within 10 minutes of arriving.
