The day started much like any other Thursday. We went downstairs with Ellie and had some breakfast then the Silver Vixen took her upstairs to get washed and dressed. Ocado arrived and the Gorse Fox took care of the shopping. Yes, pretty normal, really.
After lunch, however, we all headed into Chichester. We had tickets for the theatre. As we got out of the car the Gorse Fox asked Ellie if she remembered coming here before. It took her a moment but then she said: "Yes, we saw the Gruffalo". Spot on!
We bumped into some neighbours as we went into the play area prior to the show. Bumping into things seems to be their "thing" at present. In the storm last week they were hit by a falling tree and were lucky to have survived. The photos they showed us of the incident were horrendous.
It was showtime. We took our seats and the show started. Ellie was a little cautious at first but soon was captivated. She was up and off her seat, shouting and singing, clapping and dancing along with the proceedings. We had gone to see "Oi, Frog!" which centred around rhymes and the house rules that animals had to sit on things with which their names rhymed. We concluded that Ellie had to sit on jelly.
