Back on the turf

We set the alarm this morning. This is not a frequent occurrence, however, with Urban-cub on an early shift, we had to get Ellie up, fed, and off to the childminder. The Silver Vixen sorted out Ellie and the Gorse Fox headed off to football.

This was the first Tuesday where the Gorse Fox had been feeling fit enough to chance a third session this week. It was nice to meet up with the Tuesday lads and also some of the newer players who have joined since November when he last played. Maybe he shouldn't have bothered. He was playing in white and managed to lose all three games and failed to score any goals.

Just to emphasize the football session, there was clearly a very unwell flock of seagulls who had decided that the Gorse Fox's car makes a wonderful public convenience. When he got back to the car, it was coated in liquid comments from the gulls with a frank assessment of his footballing skills today.

This afternoon the Gorse Fox has been along to the sales office on our development with Urban-cub. It was predominantly a courtesy visit, but also a chance to hear about their latest scheme to help their buyers. This does sound as if it could be interesting for Urban-cub but until we have seen the paperwork (the scheme is so new that the paperwork hasn't been printed yet) we can't make any decision.
