It seems like a long time since we have seen the Silver Vixen's sister, Denise, and even longer since we have seen her brother, Paul. Today they escaped from the Midlands of Cambridgeshire and Buckinghamshire to come and spend the day with us.
They arrived before midday and we Urban-cub turned up with Ellie soon after. We had great fun catching up with all the family news before Urban-cub had to leave so Ellie could get to a play date with classmate Theo.
Lunch was the curry that the Gorse Fox cooked yesterday. It went down very well.
After a very leisurely lunch, we decided to stroll around the locale and then stop at Urban-cub's to say hello to Darren.
Back home, we carried on chatting and going through old family photos
We also caught up on the "hen-do" and various events leading up to Emma's wedding.
It was a lovely day and it was a shame to see them leave mid-evening.
