Books

There is a reason that the Gorse Fox has been editing and formatting old blog extracts. He has concluded that the cubs and Ellie will never be bothered to look at PDF files. However, sometime in the future, some descendants may be interested in their ancestors and may wonder what life was like in the late 20th and early 21st Centuries. The Gorse Fox would love to have a written record from his ancestors. He is now looking at getting these (heavily edited and corrected - the Gorse Fox apologises for all of the typos) blog extracts printed.

Investigating print options, the Gorse Fox found a number of possible organisations, but on examination, these were likely to cost over 100 GBP per volume. Online he noticed that many people were using "lulu.com" to print the Family Tree books. He decided to investigate. He is impressed. He has managed to commission a 248-page book with a hard-back cover for about 20 GBP. He is treating this as a draft so that he can see the quality and whether he needs to wind up any of the production choices. It seems that the worst (or is it, best) scenario would still be less than 50 GBP.

It should take about 10 days, so the Gorse Fox waits with interest.
