Out

It has been a lovely day. The sun shone and the sky was blue. There was, however, a chilly breeze which took the edge off things. The Silver Vixen wanted to do some shopping and as she is not really meant to drive at present, the Gorse Fox was happy to accompany her.

We worked through her list, popping into one shop or another as we progressed through Chichester. The Gorse Fox took the opportunity to book a table for lunch at The Ivy as we wandered by. Eventually, the shopping bags were full and the list was exhausted.

We made our way back to The Ivy. We were seated in the area they call the conservatory. It was bright and airy and afforded a view across the whole establishment.

The Gorse Fox started with a smoked haddock and salmon fishcake, but the Silver Vixen skipped the starters. She then had the Salmon as a main dish while the Gorse Fox went for pasta with goose, lamb, and duck ragu. Both dishes were excellent. The Silver Vixen then finished off with some frozen berries with yoghurt sorbet.

A perfect lunch.
