The plane took off about 25 minutes late but the flight time was less than expected. As the Gorse Fox writes this we are still 5 hours and 30 minutes from Montego Bay over the mid Atlantic. We are whizzing along at 553 mph at 35000 feet with 2940 miles to go.

So far, the Gorse Fox has enjoyed lunch and watched the film "Kingsman The Golden Circle" which was a great little romp.

It's a little later. The Gorse Fox has just finished watching the Churchill biopic "Darkest Hour". He's a little gob smacked. What a fantastic film. The Gorse Fox is old enough to remember Churchill (though not as Prime Minister). He has always admired him, but this film has reinforced that admiration  no end. If only we had a leader like that now days - politically incorrect, decisive, and charismatic. Instead we have a fairly limp Prime Minister and an absolute weasel of a leader of the Opposition.
