Water Wings

Arun District Council have issued a warning about possible coastal flooding as a result of exceptionally high tides. The Gorse Fox will dig out his water wings.

Coastal flooding Precautions

Exceptionally high tides will occur between 6-12 September and 5-11 October.
If the high tides are accompanied by high winds and storm surges some overtopping of coastal defences is a possibility.
Householders in areas prone to coastal flooding are advised to take sensible precautions such as heeding weather forecasts, checking their own flood defences such as door flood boards, stock of sand bags, and similar.

Together watched in awe as the waves seemed to tower above him, before breaking on the beach just before they would have swamped the defenses.
