Bikers in Houghton Forest
GF saw very few walkers on his route. It was, however, like strolling down the centre of a motorway with the traffic whizzing by in both direction. This is the first of his walks where he has seen so many cyclists - most were no problem, polite and careful as they passed your venerable correspondant - some however were utterly oblivious to other users of the paths. GF pondered the efficacy of sticking a branch through their spokes!
