It is Easter Sunday. It is a day to celebrate peace and reconciliation. It is a day on which the troubles in Ukraine are a completely anachronism. A day on which all all civilised people should strive for peace.
Our day was focused on family. Cousteau-Cub and the Coventry Hobbit were coming for lunch, as was Urban-Cub, her friend Darren, and Ellie. The Gorse Fox had prepared a huge topside of beef in a dry rub overnight and after browning it in oil, he roasted it gently at 120C for nearly 4 hours. It was a triumph, though he feels that 110C for a tad longer would have worked better. He also prepared some roast potatoes in their own dusting of garlic powder, salt, and paprika. Both dishes turned out to be a great success.
During the afternoon we, that is the Gorse Fox, the Coventry Hobbit, and Urban-Cub's friend Darren. tried top feed the cable through the conduit. We failed. In fact, we failed spectacularly. Plan B has been arranged. The Gorse Fox will provide Darren with dome new measurements and we will run a new cable route.
