Cooler

 It was a lot cooler today. Still dry, but quite cool. We were up early so that Urban-Cub could drop Ellie off. She was in a bubbly mood and we went through the normal pre-school protocol before walking her round the corner.

The Silver Vixen had Pilates and the Gorse Fox had football. We headed off in our separate directions. 

Football was fun. We were using the big pitch, but it was only 5-v-6 so there was a lot of ground to cover. The Orange team (with 5) was the stronger team, but the Gorse Fox's Yellow team put up a good fight. At half time it was 4-2 to Oranges, but the Gorse Fox had scored one of our 2. In the second half we pushed that bit harder and got the game to 6-6. The Gorse Fox checked his watch. Time was up... and he alerted Jack (timekeeper) - Jack decided there was 1 minute more and as soon as the Orange scored another goal, he blew the whistle.

Back home we had a quiet hour before collecting Ellie from school. She's been "hyper" and "loud" since getting in. She's just having her wash before bed... let's hope she settles.
