Sweet Dreams

The Gorse Fox is always sceptical about things he sees advertised on the TV. We had got to the stage that we needed to replace our mattress. The TV is always showing advertisements for "Emma" and "Casper" and no end of other mattress brands. The Gorse Fox saw an article in "The Independent" which purported to compare the best 10 mattresses... and the winner was "Emma". Now, until the end of the month, there is 40% discount on the Emma mattress, and it has a 100-day no quibble return warranty. The Gorse Fox and Silver Vixen decided to bite. The mattress turned up on monday and we unpacked it and allowed it to air for 24 hours. Then on Tuesday we swapped our old mattress out and stuck Emma on the bed.

After one night, the Gorse Fox is sold. This is the most comfortable mattress he has every tried. It has even stopped the ache that develops in his right hip overnight. Time will tell if this is a one-off, but at the moment we are both delighted with our choice (particularly at the discounted price).

The Gorse Fox left it until this morning to decide about football. His foot was still niggling a bit so in the end he decided to cry-off. That's the last time though. He needs to get going again, even if he has to hop.
