Kondo

Another lovely crisp, cold day. The Gorse Fox loves days such as these.

The agenda wasn't particularly full for the day, though the Silver Vixen had a hair appointment late in the morning and another mid-afternoon. The Gorse Fox had to face reality. With the new clothes he purchased last week, he was running out of wardrobe space. It was time for a bit of Kondo. He was ruthless. Any shirts, sweaters, trousers, football kit, socks, and underwear that he hadn't worn for a while or had deemed too big, was put in a pile. Slowly the pile grew. Eventually, he was done and there was plenty of space in the wardrobe. There little, however, on the floor. He loaded the car with 10 bags of clothes for the recycling centre and tootled off to dispose of them.

The Gorse Fox's car has seemed a little heavy recently. He stopped at Kwik-Fit and asked them to take a look. He was concerned that he had damaged something when dragging the bags of cat litter under the car a few weeks ago. They put the car up on the ramps and checked it over (or is it under?). They called me across to have a look. A clean bill of health. That was a relief.

Once home, Urban-cub dropped in for a few hours, which is always nice. Ellie was at the child-minder, so we had a chance to chat.

The rest of the afternoon was spent back in the study transcoding the rest of the errant video files. The Gorse Fox thinks they are all done no. He just needs to sort out their creation dates and then re-file them in the correct folders. He suspects the next little project will be to edit some more family videos into individual movies covering specific events, trips, or just the passage of time. The question for the Gorse Fox to ponder first, however, is whether to use the inbuilt "iMovies" or the sophisticated "DaVinci Resolve". Either way, there will be a learning curve as it is so long since he has done any concerted video editing.
