Emergency

Cousteau-cub managed to get an emergency appointment at the doctor's this morning. This proved to be helpful because it was one of the partners, and she was able to authorise repeat prescriptions for Cousteau-cub's condition. The Silver Vixen was acting as chauffeuse so the Gorse Fox was able to go to football.

Football was limited fun. The problem was, again, the numbers. With 18 players we ended up with 9-a-side and that limits your freedom to move about. Fortunately the Gorse Fox had done four and a half kilometres on the running track before going down for the game. The game only added about 3 more kilometres... way down on what the Gorse Fox would expect. To rub salt into the wound he didn't manage to score, and to add iodine to the salt, there was no second session.

Back home Cousteau-cub is making the most of the medication and lying down with a view to being fit enough for work tomorrow.
