It's been a funny day. The Gorse Fox hasn't really done anything that he had originally set out to do. One of the many advantages of being retired is that you can get distracted and it doesn't matter. That's what has happened today.
Yesterday the Gorse Fox made some lovely crackling alongside the roast potatoes and pork. The problem arose when this cracked one of the Silver Vixen's teeth. This morning she contacted the Dentist and they were able to slot her in, late morning. She pottered off to get the tooth sorted and The Gorse Fox looked something up on the computer. This got him thinking of Evernote - which he has used extensively over the years to take and synchronise notes between devices. Apple has "Notes" which performs a similar function so the Gorse Fox tried some of the more esoteric notes in Evernote and was delighted to find they worked well in the Mac's Notes app. Then it dawned on him that he also uses his Android tablet and there is no Mac Notes app available for that. Mmmm.
Well then the penny dropped. The Gorse Fox already pays a subscript for the Microsoft Office products and they include OneNote. Well that was it. He downloaded OneNote on the MacBook, the iPhone, and the Lenovo Tablet and imported all of his Evernote notes. He'll have a bit more of a play, but it seems daft having Evernote (and paying for it) when he's also got OneNote and is paying for that also as part of the MS subscription.
The Silver Vixen is home and the dentist did a good job of sorting her out. The Gorse Fox has decided against making Bognor Rock for tea.
