Hands that Do Dishes

The Gorse Fox is relieved of his dishwashing duties. The nice chaps turned up from John Lewis (finally) to remove the old, defunct model and replace it with a new shiny model. The Gorse Fox was surprised at how quickly it was all installed. We've had a quick test run to check for the basic operation and ensure there were no leaks, but the proper test will begin tonight after supper.

The Silver Vixen is still below par, but was well enough to drive herself into Chichester for a hair appointment this morning. That is quite an improvement as yesterday that was not even on the cards. Her throat is still very sore, however, and there's some way to go before we can declare her well.

The Gorse Fox is also still suffering from a sore throat, but fortunately that is the limit of his symptoms.

Alongside other activities today, the Gorse Fox has found a plug-in for his private blog which runs through the entries and chases down any images that have been linked. It then goes off to find the image and sucks into the blog itself so that it can stand alone, even if the images go away from their original locations. He's testing this out on the test blog on "tawnyowl" at present. If this works out, then he will run it against the full blog on "peregrine". All this came about as part of a distraction while deciding what to do with the data extracted from Google+.
