Wind

The wind has been blasting across the south coast today. In the Orangery, we were sheltered and it was very warm in the sunshine. On the football pitch, however, the wind created havoc. Blowing end to end, it was a great help  during one half, and a huge disadvantage in the other half. The ball would whip away from you as you tried to kick it, or run away when you passed it to a teammate. It rather took the fun out of the game.
