It was a good day. We played football at Felpham for the first time. The pitch was very big, and probably only suitable when we have 6 a-side or more. We had a couple of new players with us again and also Fred's grandson.
Game was fun, and the new chaps were quite good. GF was also pleased to find that when Fred's grandson broke into a run, GF was able to match him, and overtake - he wouldn't have been able to do it for long, but in a shot burst he could match the lad for speed (though there was no pretence of walking by either of them).
Once home we had a quiet afternoon and evening in the Orangery, making use of the new TV and as the temperature dropped, the underfloor heating.
