Expecting rain later in the day, we started with a trip across to the Hillier Garden Centre at Bosham. First time we have been there and whist it isn't huge, the standard and quality of plants and displays was exceptional. We ended up spending longer there than expected, but it was worth it as it gave us some more inspiration for the garden - specifically what to do to soften the look of the fencing.
Back home, GF finished sanding the mouldings that edge the lantern. Once sanded down, the first coat of paint went on - and with luck he will get another coat on later. That will just mean the top coats tomorrow, and some sealant to ensure it all looks tight.
Meanwhile, in the garden the Silver Vixen has been potting some of the plants and shrubs that she has acquired recently.
