These images are a fairly random selection of the wonderful buildings that make up Winchester.This "Alfie's" seems to be a pub or bistro in the Broadway just west of Alfred's statue.
One of the places we considered stopping for lunch - but decided to move on as it seemed very busy.
Just round the corner was this little square, by the Cathedral.
We actually stopped here for lunch. The menu was not extensive, but there was an adequate selection. The starters were excellent but the main dishes proved rather underwhelming.
