Kithurst is one of those spots where you can far to the north and south.This first photo is looking north - with the outline of the Surrey Hills o the horizon and the Sussex Weald carpeting the gap back to the South Downs.
Looking south across the lush patchwork of the Downs, the land finishes at the sea, and sea and sky almost merge on the distant horizon.
