Soon after 11:00 the Gorse Fox had parked at the car park atop Kithurst Hill. Several cars wer already there, but it was pretty quiet.The sky was a deep blue bubble-wrapped with huge white cotton-wool balls of cloud. A faint breeze blew onshore from the coast. Conditions seemed perfect for a nice walk.
With a spring in his step Gorse Fox walked 5 yards and stopped to take a photo (no sense in charging off without warming up).
