We had a very slow start to the day, lingering over breakfast and the overnight news.
The forecast was not good. We were expecting rain and high winds by late morning. In fact, they hit as we finished breakfast. There would be no walk today.
Diane returned to her sewing room for most of the day, and I returned to my study. I buried myself in the code I had been working on yesterday. Slowly, it started to emerge from the keyboard, and then I would change my approach and rework it again. This has consumed most of the day, but I am now happy with the changes I have made thus far. I still have two subroutines to rework, but they can wait for now.
