We were up early for Ellie. She was quite bubbly this morning but adamant that she wasn't hungry enough for breakfast. We left her to it. Once she was washed and ready for school, we returned to the poster she had been making for school on the subject of volcanoes. We finished some of the commentary and found some facts and more pictures to use later (when she got back from school).
It had only just stopped raining as we walked to school. The sky was still threatening, so I didn't take my usual walk. Back home, we had a quiet breakfast while reading the news and catching up on social media. Once everything had been cleared, I returned to my little coding project. After a couple of hours, it was all finished, and all the tests seemed to run successfully. It was a shame... now I'll have to find another little project to tickle the little grey cells.
In a gap between showers, I headed out for a walk. AirPods provided the commentary from my current audiobook as I looped around the estate and the lake a couple of times. I had to cut it short as the rain started again, but I managed about 45 minutes good exercise.
After lunch, we had a bit of Kindle time until we had to collect Ellie. Once home, and she had raided the fridge, she cracked on and finished the poster about Mt. Etna. Next time she is here (Thursday), she will probably return to the project on Roman leisure time.
