Ellie came in to us at about 6:45. That wasn't a problem as the Gorse Fox had to get up and get going. Urban-Cub was having some work done on her garden and as she had started work at 5:00 she needed someone to open up and let the landscaper in to do their job. The Gorse Fox managed to plug down a coffee and then made his way 13 houses along the Crecent and round the corner and settled down to wait for them. They turned up just before 8:00 and once they had settled, the Gorse Fox headed home for breakfast.
The rest of the day was spent doing the odd chores and entertaining Ellie. We had a quick shopping trip, at the end of which she asked for a Burger King for lunch. The Gorse Fox obliged and went to get said item only for Ellie to get home, eat the chips, take a bite out of the burger and say she didn't want any more.
The landscapers had phoned while the Gorse Fox was in Burger King. They were just finishing off. The Gorse Fox popped round to examine their work and to lock up behind them. He must say, they have done a lovely job and is certain that Urban-Cub will love it.
The afternoon has been spent monitoring and clearing up as Ellie decided she wanted to do painting. No sooner had she got bored with that, she asked for the Play Dough. In the end she flatly refused to clear up her bits. The Silver Vixen and Gorse Fox gathered it all up and dumped it in a black bin bag. Currently it is sitting in the spare dustbin. Ellie didn't seem in slightest bit concerned.
Talking of bins. The Gorse Fox decided to cut up the box in which Condor was delivered as the recycling bin will be collected tomorrow. Well, that was an epic! He has never seen such well-engineered cardboard packaging. The voids were reinforced and everything was connected with some incredible glue. The Gorse Fox suspects. you could drop one of the boxes from several metres without damaging the computer inside. I should think the box alone must be worth 100USD - no wonder the computers are so expensive.
Urban-Cub picked her up at about 16:30 and she will be sleeping at home tonight.
The Gorse Fox has a meeting of the Committee for the football club tonight.
