It was a lovely evening yesterday with Cousteau-Cub and the Coventry Hobbit. We had a reservation at "Lime Squeezy" which is part of the Giggling Squid chain. This is less formal; more like Wagamama's. The dishes are also a bit bigger than those at Giggling Squid. The food was superb but because of the canteen-style, it probably wouldn't be classed as "fine dining". It is certainly a place that we would go to again, though.
This morning dawned bright and sunny again. The Silver Vixen and Gorse Fox strolled round to collect Ellie from home and take her to school. Urban-Cub was still holed up and awaiting the results of her test. We all took precautions of wearing masks while in the house - and kept a safe distance, just in case.
With Ellie delivered to school, we returned home for coffee and to get on with the usual Thursday fare - receiving and putting the Ocado delivery away, then topping up at Sainsbury's. While there, we picked up a few extra items that Urban-Cub needed. We then had a few quiet hours before we had to collect Ellie. The Gorse Fox used this time to upgrade Condor to the latest level of MacOS. This took a bit longer than expected because the first download failed - right at the end. He had to restart. Second time around, everything worked as designed.
We are still waiting for Urban-Cub's results as that may mean we cancel some plans for tomorrow and Saturday.
