For some reason the Silver Vixen's iPad is unbelievably slow; much slower than that belonging to the Gorse Fox. Now, it has less memory, but even still that doesn't really account for the difference. The Silver Vixen doesn't have a lot on the iPad, and doesn't overload it with running apps. It's the same generation of hardware, and uses the same network to communicate. The Gorse Fox has tried to clean it up and re-install but it has no impact.
He has decided there is only one thing for it - he is replacing the iPad with a Macbook Air. The nice man at John Lewis is busy locating the right box in order to ship it down to Chichester for the Gorse Fox to collect on Saturday. That should sort out the problem.
