Metamorphosis

The house metamorphosis has begun. The decorations are escaping from their summer storage and finding their way onto every surface in the house. This will continue for another day or two, before the Silver Vixen is happy with what she has done. 

At lunchtime we realised that the Orangery needs a tree. This meant a trip to John Lewis, but they had sold out of the type that we wanted. We tried British Home Stores; nothing. Then Homebase; nothing we liked. Then it dawned on us that Haskins in Angmering had always been a great place for Christmas decorations. We zipped across and took a look. 17 minutes later we were loading the tree into the car. Job done.
