It was along this stretch that Gorse Fox's solitude was again interrupted by some horse riders. Not the normal, pleasant horse riders, but a coule of load-mouthed yuppy types with several dogs running free. As the dogs would not follow them through a gate, but would rather chase the sheep, these imbeciles started to swear loudly at the dogs and chase them with riding crops. Fortunately, the dogs were too quick and no harm was done.
Just as some people are wheat-intolerant, Gorse Fox is stupid-intolerant. If you are going to take dogs out in the countryside and not maintain them on a leash... do not expect them to stay nearby when you are on a horse and are trotting through a field full of
