Urban-cub and Sir Lancinglot have made the decision not to proceed with their house purchase. GF+SV think this was the right decision. There were too many question-marks hanging over the purchase. The Inept Financial Advisor had made two significant mistakes in his arithmetic... who knows what else would have cropped up. So, difficult decision, but right (and brave) answer methinks. At least U-c still has her own flat as a fall-back.
