What a stunning day down on the coast. Heavy pre-dawn shower had cleared by first thing, the sun came up and that was that... wall to wall sunshine.

GF and SV spent much of the day in the garden slaughtering more weeds. The sections we have done are looking good, but the rest is getting a little wild. The new composter is full already. Despite how little rain we have had, part of the garden are very wet and you can hear the water squelching beneath your feet as you walk across the grass.

We have adopted a bio-control for the slugs that feast on our plants. We relocate them to the middle of the lawn then if they manage to evade the birds, well and good. If not, c'est la mort.
